Browse on Delivery Loads

You use this program to view details of loads assigned to specific delivery routes. Delivery loads are maintained using the Load Planning Delivery Route Maintenance program.

Details  
Routed Select this to use the Load Planning Delivery Load Maintenance program to view information for the currently highlighted load and to maintain details of loads for a specific route.

Delivery Loads

If you access this program from the Program List, all loads currently defined are displayed in a listview. If you access this program from the Browse on Delivery Routes program (Details->Load) then only the loads for the currently highlighted route are displayed.

Column Description
Delivery route code Indicates the delivery route code for the load.
Description Indicates the description for the route code.
Delivery date Indicates the delivery date for the load.
Delivery sequence Indicates the delivery sequence for the load and indicates the sequence in which the load is to be delivered on the route.
Status

Indicates the status of the load (see Load Statuses).

Load reference Indicates the load reference number.
Total volume Indicates the total volume which can be allocated on the load.
Volume used Indicates the cumulative volume currently allocated to the load. This value is increased/decreased for each sales order line added/removed respectively.
Volume available Indicates the total volume that can still be allocated on the load. This is calculated as the Total volume less the Volume used.
Total mass Indicates the total mass which can be allocated on the load.
Mass used Indicates the cumulative mass currently allocated to the load. This value is increased/decreased for each sales order line added/removed respectively.
Mass available Indicates the total mass that can still be allocated on the load. This is calculated as the Total mass less the Mass used.
Transport

Indicates the transport type code for the route code (see Browse on Load Transport).

Driver Indicates the code of the driver assigned to the transport type.
Load complete

Indicates whether the load is complete (see Load Planning Delivery Load Maintenance).

Loads Selection

These options enable you to indicate the loads you want to display in the listview.

Field Description
Refresh Delivery Loads Use this to redisplay the Delivery Loads listview according to the changes you made in the Loads Selection pane.
Autoload Values These options enable you to indicate how you want to save the selections made in this pane.

You can choose to set all selections as they were when you last ran the program (i.e. Load Previous Form Values) or save your selections in the pane as your default preferences for all companies, or for the current company only (i.e. Save Form Values as Default or Save Form Values for this Company).

If you have saved form values for the company or as the default, then you can remove these settings and restore them to the form's default preference selections.

Delivery routes Indicate the delivery routes for which you want to display delivery loads in the listview.
Delivery dates Indicate the delivery dates for which you want to display delivery loads in the listview.
Include  
Loads in process Displays loads that are currently being processed.
Approved - Confirm Displays loads that have been authorized.
Complete loads Displays loads that have been delivered.
Loads in process - printed Displays loads that are in a status of In process.

Notes and warnings

Prerequisites

  • Before using this program you need to define your delivery routes using the Browse on Delivery Routes program.

Deletion considerations

  • You cannot delete a load if it is not complete or has Sales Orders or Dispatches allocated to it.

Restricted maintenance

  • You cannot maintain information displayed in this listview if access to the program is set to Browse only, but access to the corresponding maintenance program is not allowed (see Security Access).
