Improved Control of Internal Operations
As globalization continues and access to world markets becomes easier, manufacturing industries are under pressure to remain competitive and improve efficiencies while reducing costs, and being able to deliver their product anywhere in the world at short notice.
These expectations require improved internal controls throughout the manufacturing business. To support this, a number of capabilities are being developed to offer the manufacturing business the required level of internal control.

We have leveraged existing document services to seamlessly transform a purchase order into a fully digitalized sales order. This capability enables businesses to automate and streamline the entry process, converting purchase orders (in PDF or JPG format) into digital SYSPRO sales orders with minimal manual intervention.

We have updated the Scripting Engine to create and execute scripts using C#, as Microsoft are deprecating VB Script from future versions of their operating systems. The introduction of C# scripting allows for the customisation, power tailoring and Application Designer program to use a modern language and use the power of the .Net framework when building and delivering bespoke requirements in SYSPRO. In all areas of SYSPRO where VBScript was previously supported, you now have the option to create and utilize C# scripts.

SYSPRO Point of Sale has been enhanced in various ways to improve the following aspects:

The SYSPRO Point of Sale system now includes an integration to the Avalara sales tax system, providing retailers with real-time, automated tax calculations. Retailers can trust that all transactions are accurate, and that their tax billing remains up-to-date and compliant with the latest regulations.

We have built a standard payment integration gateway with Pay Assist for customers wishing to integrate payment processes with SYSPRO Point of Sale.

We have streamlined the stock take process by automatically bypassing the bin selection when the Multiple bins setup option is disabled. This improves efficiency, and ensures faster, more accurate inventory counts.

We have developed an additional lead time calculation method within the sub-contract operations capability of Bill of Materials. This lets you calculate lead times based on sequential operations (rather than the existing parallel approach), thereby providing manufacturers with a more flexible and accurate tool for managing sub-contract workflows.

We have increased the number of production routes per product from 99 to 1000. This empowers manufacturers to manage complex production processes with large production lines.
You can now search for and select the route at the Route field of various Bill of Materials programs.

The expiry date can be changed for bins that have zero quantity on hand using the Change expiry date for all bins option in the Lot Number Maintenance program. This ensures all expiry dates are updated, irrespective of the stock quantity within the bins.

We have optimized the Traceability Query Lot Traceability Query (LOTPEN) program to reduce the time required execute queries and improve the efficiency of data retrieval.

We have removed the option to use the legacy Configurator Wizard, which you could select from a pop-up window that was displayed when selectin the Configure link or button within the following programs:

This ensures that the new Product Configurator Wizard with its modern, enhanced interface is adopted.

We enhanced the WIP Job Specific Issues business object to enable the posting of engineering change controlled job issues, even when this results in a negative stock balance.

Improved Organizational Controls
As the landscape changes, businesses need to focus on improving organizational controls and internal controls.
Improved organizational control will become steadily critical as the business changes and grows, and for improved real-time decision making by the leadership team.

We added the ability to clone an existing SYSPRO production company to a new or existing SYSPRO non-production company. These sandbox environments will vastly improve the testing and validation of new features and solutions without impact or risk to the live company data.

We have expanded our automated solution to calculate and record withholding tax in Accounts Receivable upon recognizing income into more business processes. This eliminates manual processes, ensuring effortless compliance with regulations while increasing efficiency and accuracy in tax reporting.
The capability to automatically calculate withholding tax on sales order line level, based on the default withholding tax code for the stock code/service charge was added to the Sales Order Entry Express program. Withholding tax is automatically deducted from the outstanding customer invoice balance.

To complete our Dimension Analysis functionality , we added the ability to:

Create a budget against dimension codes

Capture dimensions during purchase order and sales order entry, and

Use distribution templates, against which a pre-determined, fixed split between dimension codes can be defined.

The Developer Support button within the SYSPRO application provides easy access to the developer.syspro.com platform to efficiently assist developers and systems integrators in knowledge gathering, development education and obtaining code samples. The platform provides the required information to build, manage and deploy apps in SYSPRO, and understand our API and integration standards.

Our Document Services: AP Invoice Automation capability now identifies the supplier code based on the supplier's name on the invoice document. This is beneficial when direct invoicing is used or when the purchase order number is not recognized.


We have added the standalone Maintenance Labor Posting Capture program to enable maintenance teams to capture labor for unplanned maintenance jobs and adjust labor for planned jobs, if needed.


We added the ability to maintain (i.e. rename and delete) additional lot names using the Additional Lot Maintenance program.

The Non Conformance Purge and Archive program controls the archiving and purging of NCR data.

We further built out the NCR and CAPA capability by allowing the user to add additional tasks when an audit failed and to re-audit an NCR.

Supply Chain and Connected World
The competitive landscape has changed and each manufacturer increasingly faces a requirement to find new and alternative routes to market, as well as being able to better service their current market.
SYSPRO's product roadmap provides capabilities to improve processes to support optimization of the sales and distribution channel as well as aftermarket support for the sale.

SYSPRO's SaaS Gateway (Payment Gateway) provides a cloud-based orchestration and integration layer that enhances our product by enabling seamless, real-time connectivity with third-party services. This always-on solution allows integration with custom plugins and APIs independently of SYSPRO’s standard release cycles, empowering faster innovation, improved agility, and operational continuity.
This gateway service in Azure orchestrates, monitors and audits transactions between SYSPRO (on-premise or in the cloud) and third party service providers.

We have extended the Pricing Engine - Pricing Catalog functionality to include trade promotion detail, such as discounts, free product bundles and rebates in the product catalog.

We have optimized the Traceability Query program to reduce the time required execute queries and improve the efficiency of data retrieval.

We added a Validate looping option to the Product Recall Selections Review program and the LOT Product Recall Selections Query business object. When this option is selected the program will identify looping jobs. You can then exclude these jobs when reviewing product recall data.


We have changed the Web UI calling method from a-synchronous to synchronous, which streamlines the Web UI performance, ensuring more predictable and consistent communication between the system and the server. This guarantees system reliability and offers improved performance and responsiveness for critical retail operations.

Information and Intelligence
Along with the improved controls, a business needs information to function. Digital Transformation is bringing more and more information to the business, but without the tools to manage all of the extra information it adds no value.
SYSPRO adds the key tools to manage and analyze all of the extra information. Augmented Services translates all of the knowledge into an improved customer experience.

We are introducing a state of the art Reporting Services solution that provides an intuitive web interface for designing and amending reports. By implementing a cloud first, server only solution, we are increasing the scalability and making it easier to design and maintain reports with a simpler deployment.

Our new listview type for Business Activity Queries lets you effortlessly present custom data, such as the results of a Business Activity Query, in a listview within the SYSPRO interface. This empowers you to create custom lists, without needing to use complex scripting methods to call database queries to render datasets in SYSPRO.

We have added the source job number in the error report of the Requirements Calculation program to assist users in identifying the job, thereby reducing the time and effort required for further investigation.

We have significantly extended our AI Machine Learning module with the following capabilities:

AI models can be integrated into any listview to accelerate interpretations, detect anomalies, profitability, and trends.

AI custom form fields can be added to any SYSPRO program to obtain key insights and determine trends.

Digital Business Platform
A combination of technologies that enables an organization to deliver digital business capabilities, SYSPRO's Digital Business Platform supports any customer organization that needs to build their own platform (or multi-purpose integration hub) to interact with other platforms or integrate all of their disparate systems into a single platform that is integrated directly into SYSPRO.

We have integrated a Payment Gateway to cater for the growing global demand for self-service and automated payment processes. This facilitates real-time digital payment processing, that not only ensures a seamless and convenient payment experience for end-customers but also empowers SYSPRO customers with heightened operational efficiencies, expedited collection cycles, and mitigated credit risks.

We have simplified the purchase order creation by automatically displaying the description of non-stocked items when creating a purchase order from the Advanced Trial Kitting program.
If the non-stock item is not included in the QotNonStock table, the non-stock item description will automatically populate the Description field. This improves the efficiency and accuracy in the ordering process.

SYSPRO Point of Sale has been enhanced in various ways to improve the following aspects:

We have added a filter to the Stock Code Search functionality that automatically excludes stock items that are on full hold from search results. This enhancement simplifies the search process, reduces clutter and ensures operators only see stock that is available for sale.

We've added the option for supervisor authorization for the Reset order button within the SYSPRO Point of Sale system. The enhanced security feature safeguards transaction integrity and ensures governance and compliance for retailers by preventing unauthorized deletions of detail lines from sales orders.

We standardized the use of the Return to POS button that allows operators to quickly return to the SYSPRO Point of Sale interface. This ensures that staff can assist walk-in customers without delays, resulting in faster service and increased customer satisfaction.

We have enhanced and optimized various procedures within the SYSPRO Point of Sale system to improve performance.
