Inventory Label Print

You use this program to print up to 9999 labels for each stock code selected.

Toolbar and menu

Field Description
Print/Send Select this to generate your labels.
Alignment Select this to print a test label enabling you to verify that the labels are correctly aligned in your printer.
Save Form Values This option is only enabled in Design mode (Automation Design). Your selections are saved and applied when the program is run in automated mode.

Form values and defaults are applied at operator level. They are not saved at role or group level.

Print Report Options

Field Description
Label  
Label sequence Indicate the order in which you want to generate the labels.
OptionDescription
Stock codeSelect this to generate labels in order of stock codes.
DescriptionSelect this to generate labels in order of stock code descriptions.
SupplierSelect this to generate labels in order of the supplier defined against the stock code.
Product classSelect this to generate labels in order of the product class defined against he stock code.
WarehouseSelect this to generate labels in order of the warehouse defined against the stock code.
User defined sequence

Select this to generate the labels in a user-defined sequence.

A tag file is created using a text editor and enables you to print reports in a sequence not catered for by the system (see Tag files).

Warehouse Indicate the warehouse for which you want to generate labels.
Warehouse description This indicates the description of the Warehouse.
Tag file name Indicate the name of the file that contains the list of stock codes for which you want to print labels (see Tag files).
Documents  
Format Indicate the stationery format to use to generate the labels. See Inventory Label Format.
Format description This indicates the description of the label Format.
Stock codes  
Stock code selection Indicate the stock codes for which to print labels.
Suppliers  
Supplier selection Include stock items for a selection of suppliers in the label print.
Product class  
Product class selection

Indicate the products classes for which to include stock items in the label print.

If a specific product class is entered, then only stock items belonging to that product class are included in the label print.

Cycle  
Cycle count selection Include stock items based on the cycle count number assigned them (Stock Codes).
Labels to print  
Labels per stock code Indicate the number of labels you want to generate for each stock code selected.
ABC classes  
ABC class

Include stock items based on the ABC classification assigned to them (Stock Codes).

Ensure that you have run the ABC Analysis program to assign each stock item to its correct class.

After processing completed

These options are displayed within programs that can be automated. They enable you to indicate the action you want to perform once processing is complete (see Automation Design).
