Browse on Quotations

You use this program to view details of quotations currently defined.

Query

Select this to view additional details for the highlighted quotation using the Quotations Query program.

You cannot use this option if you accessed the Browse on Quotations program from the Quotations Query program.

Include  
Include Select this to indicate the quotations you want to display in the listview according to the status of the quotations.

Include

This screen is displayed when you select the Include option form the Include menu.

Field Description
Include all Select this to include quotations in all status in the listview.
Exclude all

Select this to exclude quotations in all statuses from the listview.

You typically use this function to deselect all quotation statuses and then select one or two statuses you want to include in the listview.

OK Select this to accept the quotation statuses you selected and to return to the listview. Only those quotations in the statuses you selected are displayed.
Cancel Select this to ignore any changes you made to the status selections and to return to the listview.
Include

You can include/exclude quotations with the following statuses from the listview:

  • Preparation (status 0)
  • Ready for printing (status 1)
  • Printed (status 2)
  • On hold (status H)
  • Confirmed (status 4)
  • Rejected (status R)
  • Cancelled (status \)

Listview columns

Column Description
Quotation This indicates the quotation number.
Description This indicates the description defined against the quotation.
Customer This indicates the customer for whom the quotation was raised. If this is blank, then no customer was entered against the quotation.
Status

This indicates the current status of the quotation.

Refer to Status Codes for information on quotation status codes.

Version

This indicates the quotation version number and only applies when quotation versioning is required (Quotations Setup).

Notes and warnings

Restricted maintenance

  • You cannot maintain information displayed in this listview if access to the program is set to Browse only, but access to the corresponding maintenance program is not allowed (see Security Access).
