Include Options

This screen is displayed when you select the Include Options from the toolbar or you run the Browse on Lots program standalone. This minimizes delays in loading the program by letting you narrow the search so that fewer results are returned.

Field Description
Options
Show archived lots Include archived lots.
Show zero quantities Include lots with zero quantity available.
Show free quantities Display only lots with a quantity available.

The quantity free is calculated as the quantity on hand less the quantity shipped less the quantity reserved.

You typically select this if you needed to reserve lots, since only lots available to reserve would then be displayed in the listview.

Exclude lots on hold Exclude lots placed on hold from the listview.
Sequence by This only applies in a SQL environment and enables you to sort the listview in one of the following of sequences:
  • stock code, warehouse

  • lot, stock code,warehouse

  • stock code, warehouse, lot creation date (descending)

  • stock code, warehouse, lot creation date (ascending)

  • stock code, warehouse, lot expiry date (descending)

  • stock code, warehouse, lot expiry date (ascending)

Stock codes Specify a selective range of stock codes for which to display Lot information.
Lot numbers Specify a selective range of lot numbers for which to display Lot information.
Warehouses Specify a selective range of warehouses for which to display Lot information.

Listview columns

Column Description
Lot The lot number.
Stock code The stock code for the lot number.
Warehouse The warehouse in which the lot number occurs.
Bin

The specific bin to which the lot is allocated. This only applies if the Multiple bins in use option is enabled against the warehouse in which the lot is defined (Warehouses).

Date created The date on which the lot number was created.
Quantity reserved The WIP quantity reserved from the lot (see WIP Reserve Lots & Serials Maintenance).

This value is taken from the LotDetail table (QtyReserved) which is used by both Jobs and Sales orders.

On hold Whether the lot is on hold (see Lot Number Maintenance).

A lot is typically placed on hold to prevent any issues being made from the lot during processing in the Inventory Control, Work in Progress, Sales Orders or Accounts Receivable modules.

In transit For traceable items, the quantity in transit is displayed against the source warehouse until such time as it is received into the target warehouse. The reason is that the lot into which the item must be received in the target warehouse may not exist and may only be created at the time of receipt.
Revision

The revision number of the stock item to which the lot number is assigned (ECC-controlled items only).

Release

The release number of the stock item to which the lot number is assigned (ECC-controlled items only).

Expiry date The expiry date of the lot.
Last transaction The date on which the last transaction was performed against the lot.
Drawing number
Archive file The name of the file in which the lot is archived.
