Browse on Archive Sales Orders

You use this program to view details of sales orders previously archived.

Field Description
Sequence These options enable you to indicate the order in which you want to display the information in the listview.

Once of the following sequences can be selected:

  • Sales order
  • Customer
  • Date
  • Customer purchase order
  • Alternate key

Listview columns

The sales orders currently archived in the selected file are displayed in a listview.

Column Description
Archived sales order This indicates the archived sales order number.
Customer purchase order This indicates the customer's purchase order number for the sales order.
Customer This indicates the code of the customer for the sales order.
Customer name This indicates the customer's name.
Sales order date This indicates the sales order date.
Alternate key

This indicates the alternate key information, if applicable.

This is a user-defined information key that can be used as an additional sequencing key for sales orders.

Branch This indicates the Accounts Receivable branch against which the sales order was raised.
Salesperson This indicates the salesperson for the sales order.

Notes and warnings

Restrictions and limits

  • No ''additional'' information attached to Sales Orders (such as custom forms, multimedia, notes, etc) is archived.

Program access

  • You can access the program by highlighting a Sales order archive type in the listview of the Archive Maintenance program and selecting the Archive Details option.

Query archived sales orders

  1. From the Sales Order Query program, select Archived Orders from Query menu.

    If you know the number of the archived order you want to query, then you can specify it at the Order field. Key details for the order are displayed in a browser window.

    You can customize the design used to render information in the browser window using the Browser Queries and Themes program.

  2. From the screen that is displayed, highlight the required sales order and press Enter.

    Key details for the order are displayed, together with a number of functions from which you can select to view additional information.
