Browse on Customs Exchange Rates

You use this program to view details of currently define Landed Cost Tracking customs exchange rates.

You can generate a report of LCT customs exchange rates currently defined using the List of Custom Exchange Rates program.

Toolbar and menu

Field Description
Global Delete  
Global Delete Select this to delete multiple customs exchange rates simultaneously (see Global Delete).

Global Delete

This screen is displayed when you select the Global Delete option from the Global Delete menu.

Field Description
Delete rates dated before Enter the date prior to which you want to delete the customs exchange rates. All rates dated before the date you specify here are deleted.
OK

Select this to accept the date you entered above.

From the Confirm Deletion screen, select OK to delete the selected exchange rate or Cancel to return to the listview without deleting the rate.

This step is only required if the Confirm Deletions command is selected from the Options menu.

If the Confirm Deletions command is deselected, then the exchange rates are deleted immediately.
Cancel Select this to return to the listview without deleting any rates.

Listview columns

Column Description
Currency This indicates the currency code for the customs exchange rate.
Date This indicates the departure date of the shipment and is used to calculate the actual duty.
Exchange rate This indicates the customs exchange rate.
Multiply This indicates whether the purchase price must be multiplied or divided by the exchange rate.

Notes and warnings

Restricted maintenance

  • You cannot maintain information displayed in this listview if access to the program is set to Browse only, but access to the corresponding maintenance program is not allowed (see Security Access).

Globally delete LCT customs exchange rates

  1. From the listview pane of the Browse on Customs Exchange Rates program, select Global Delete from the Global Delete menu.

  2. The Global Delete screen is displayed.

  3. Enter the date before which you want to delete the exchange rates.

  4. Select OK to delete the rates.
