Change Criteria

Select this to indicate different criteria according to which to export blanket purchase orders.

Start Export

Creates the export file with the selected orders.

A blanket purchase order export report is produced detailing all the blanket order headers that have been exported. This includes new orders, changes to order lines, and order cancellations.

The Blanket Purchase Order Export file content depends entirely on the options selected. You can select to update the blanket purchase order files after each export.

The fields that are included in the export blanket purchase order file come from the Blanket Purchase Order master, schedule and detail files.

Blanket PO Export Review Criteria

Field Description
Export details
Directory Indicates the folder to which the document(s) must be saved.

The full path must be specified and must be accessible to the application server.

If you enter a different Directory to the default displayed, then the program validates the directory when you tab or click on Start Review.

Within the XML Document Control program you can set the path name against the Supplier field that will be picked up as the default folder for the export or specify a path against individual suppliers.

Next generated filename

This field is generated by SYSPRO (constructed by the COMXBL program) and indicates the name of the export file and where it will be stored.

The file is created in the directory specified in the selection option entry field and adheres to a specific naming convention.

The next document number is generated according to the number defined in the XML Document Control program. This program will also keep a history of outgoing documents and a copy of the document, if required.

The Transmission reference field is generated by SYSPRO, and indicates the reference number that is assigned to the export file. This reference number is extracted from your Local Site setup options. The transmission reference is used (together with the EDI sender/receiver codes) to correctly identify the recipient of the export file.

Supplier

Specify the EDI supplier for whom you want to generate the export file.

A valid EDI supplier is one against whom you have specified that the Purchase order transmission method is by EDI.
