You use this program to maintain collection descriptors used in the Families & Groupings program to assist in defining collections.
The reason for defining collection descriptors is to eliminate typographical errors when creating collections and enabling you to work with the contents of multiple instances of the same collector descriptor. For example, you may sell BMW and Ford spares and you define collections for each of these manufactures. Under these manufacturer's collections you define a sub-collection of Brakes. This enables you to view all stock keeping units (SKUs) that fall under Brakes, irrespective of the manufacturer.
