List of Configurations

You use this program to generate a list of configurations created using the Configuration Maintenance program.

Report Options

Field Description
Configuration status  
Available for use

Select this to include only configurations which can be used.

The configurations which are printed can be further defined by entering a range of availability dates.
Under development Select this to include only configurations which are still being developed for use.
Configuration selection Indicate the configurations to include in the report.
Availability dates Indicate the availability dates to include in the report.
Engineer selection Indicate the engineers to include in the report.
Where used

Select the modules from which you want to print the configurations.

The following modules are available for selection:

  • Sales orders
  • Quotations
  • Bill of Materials
  • Work in Progress
Print selection Owing to the size of a full report which can be generated for each configuration, you should be selective on what information to print for each configuration.
Selections Select this to include details of configuration selections for each configuration in the report.
Criteria

Select this to include details of configuration criteria for each configuration in the report.

This only applies if you selected the Selections option.
Invalid criteria

Select this to include details of invalid configuration criteria for each configuration in the report.

This only applies if you selected both the Selections and Criteria options.
Options Select this to include details of configuration options for each configuration in the report.
Components and operations Any calculations attached to a component are printed immediately beneath the component print line when this option is enabled.
Selection criteria dependencies Select this to include details of selection criteria dependencies for each configuration in the report.
Component dependencies Select this to include details of component dependencies for each configuration in the report.
Validate component dependencies

Select this to print the invalid component dependency messages for the selected configurations.

This only applies if you selected the Component dependencies option.
Print options  
New page for each configuration

Select this to print the details for each configuration on a separate page.

This only applies if you selected at least one Print Selection.

Selection criteria

Field Description
Configuration selection Indicate the configuration(s) for which you want to generate the report.
Availability dates Indicate the availability date(s) for which you want to include configurations in the report.
Engineer selection Indicate the engineer(s) for which you want to include configurations in the report.

Output Options

These options enable you to apply a theme to the report and to define multiple output destinations for the report once it has been compiled (SRS Output Options).

Hints and tips

  • You can also use the List of Configurations program to check that parent code strings defined against selection criteria are the correct length and in the correct positions.
