You use this program to selectively configure printers against each print program in SYSPRO for an operator.

Group |
This indicates the operator group to which you want to copy the current operator's printer settings. The current operator's printer settings are copied to all operators within the selected group. |
Include subgroups |
Select this if you want to include subgroups in the copy process. If you select this option, then all operators who have the group you entered as subgroups are included in the copy process. |
Define list of operators to copy to | These options are displayed if you selected to copy the printer settings to a list of operators. |
Operator | Indicate the operator code to add to the list. |
Add | Adds the operator you entered in the previous field to the list of operators. |
Remove | Removes the highlighted operator from the list of operators. |
Clear All | Removes all operators from the operator list. |
Operators | This displays the operators to which the current operator's printer settings must be copied. |
Clear existing settings before copying |
Select this to delete the existing settings against the target operator before copying the settings from the source operator. Select this if you want both operators to have exactly the same printer settings. If you do not select this option before performing the copy, then you can optionally select to overwrite the existing printer settings or retain the existing settings. |
Overwrite existing printer settings | Select this overwrite the existing printer/program settings for the target operator and copy any new settings from the source operator. |
Retain existing settings | Select this to only copy new settings to the target operator (i.e. only settings where a printer is not currently assigned to a program for the target operator). |
Start Copy |
Copy the printer settings for the current operator to the operator(s) you indicated. |
Close | Return to the previous screen without copying any information. |
This screen is displayed when you select the Current Printer Page Setup option from the Configure menu.

This displays the print programs for each module in SYSPRO and the printer currently assigned to that program for the operator.

Copy operator settings
You perform this task to copy the printer/program settings between operators.
The printer for program settings for the operator you are currently maintaining (see Operator Browse) are copied to the operator(s) you select.
From the Printers per Operator program, select the Copy operator settings option from the File menu.
Enter the Copy selections you require.
Select the Start Copy function to copy the current operator's printer settings to the operator(s) you indicated.
Allocate a printer to a program
From the treeview pane of the Printers per Operator program, highlight the module that contains the program to which you want to assign a printer.
From the listview, highlight the print program to which you want to assign a printer.
Select the Apply current printer option from the Edit menu.
From the Apply Current Printer screen, select OK to allocate the default printer currently defined to the highlighted program.
This step is only required if the Confirm Changes command is selected from the Options menu. If the Confirm Changes command is deselected, then the printer is allocated to the program immediately. |
Change a printer for a program
From the treeview pane of the Printers per Operator program, highlight the module that contains the program for which you want to change the printer.
From the listview, highlight the print program for which you want to change the printer.
Select the Change printer for program option from the Edit menu.
From the listview of the Print Setup (non-Windows) program, select the printer you want to assign to the program.
The printer you selected is automatically assigned to the highlighted program.
Clear a printer for a program
From the treeview pane of the Printers per Operator program, highlight the module that contains the program from which you want to clear the printer.
From the listview, highlight the print program from which you want to clear the printer.
Select the Clear printer for program option from the Edit menu.
From the Clear Program Printer screen, select OK to clear the printer currently defined against the program.
This step is only required if the Confirm Changes command is selected from the Options menu. If the Confirm Changes command is deselected, then the printer is cleared from the program immediately. |
Copy and paste assigned printers
If a printer is already assigned to a program then you can copy those settings to a different program using the Copy and Paste options.
From the treeview pane of the Printers per Operator program, highlight the module that contains the program from which you want to copy the printer settings.
From the listview, highlight the print program from which you want to copy the printer settings.
Select the Copy option from the Edit menu.
From the listview, highlight the print program to which you want to copy the printer settings.
Select the paste option from the Edit menu to copy the printer settings to the highlighted program.
Maintain current printer page setup
From the treeview pane of the Printers per Operator program, highlight the module that contains the program for which you want to maintain the printer.
From the listview, highlight the print program for which you want to maintain the printer.
Select the Current Printer Page Setup option from the Configure menu.
Enter the new page setup details you require.
Select OK to accept the information you entered.
Maintain current printer print setup
From the treeview pane of the Printers per Operator program, highlight the module that contains the program for which you want to maintain the printer.
From the listview, highlight the print program for which you want to maintain the printer.
Select the Current Printer Print Setup option from the Configure menu.
From the listview pane of the Print Setup (non-Windows) program, highlight the printer you want to maintain and select the Change option from the Edit menu.
Alternatively, select the Change icon from the toolbar.
Enter the new details for the selected printer.
Select Save to save the information you entered.
Select Close to return to the listview of the Print Setup (non-Windows) program.
Select the Exit option from the File menu to return to the Printers per Operator program.
