Load Planning Sales Order Lines

You use this program to add sales order lines to a specific delivery route and load when the Basis of calculating load capacity is Ship quantity or Order quantity (Sales Orders Setup).

This exits the program.

Show all records

Select this to view all records.
Record limit

This lets you limit the number of records you see in the list. This defaults to 1000.

Sales Order Lines Selection

Sales order lines for orders in D - Draft status are excluded from the list and cannot be added to a load. Unlike Suspense, Draft orders cannot be included by an option, because an unvalidated order must not be committed to a delivery route or load.
On sales order creation, when the Place orders in draft status setup option is enabled, the status defaults to D - Draft

Field Description
Refresh Sales Order Lines Use this to display the lines in the Sales Order lines listview and to redisplay the lines when you've made changes in the Sales Order Lines Selection pane.
Restore Defaults This restores the default selections.
Ship date selection Indicate the order ship dates for which to add lines to the load.
Sales orders  
Sales order selection Indicate the sales orders for which to add lines to the load.
Include complete sales order lines Displays completed sales order lines.
Include sales orders in suspense Displays sales orders in a status of Suspense.
Include complete sales orders Displays lines for completed sales orders.
Include zero available to ship Displays sales order lines for which stock is not available to ship.

Sales Order Lines

The sales order lines are displayed in this listview according to your selections in the Sales Order Lines Selection pane.

Field Description
Add Adds the highlighted order lines to the load.
Select All Lines Highlights all lines.
Deselect All

This deselects all entries in the listview.
More Lines Displays the next number of lines indicated in the Rows field. This is not applicable when you select to display All rows.

Notes and warnings

Program access

  • This program can be accessed by selecting the Add function from the Load Details Maintenance program.

  • A sales order in D - Draft status cannot be added to a delivery route or load. A Draft order carries no committed quantities. Release it from draft status to an active status by reviewing Draft Order Review (Program List > Sales Orders > Sales Order Processing ) before its lines can be assigned to a load.
