Program: UPT Purge and Archive

This program lets you purge and archive UPT data as well as archive non-current CTE configurations.

This program is accessed from the Program List of the Syspro menu:

Starting

You can restrict access to the eSignature transactions within a program at operator, group, role or company level (configured using the Electronic Signature Configuration Setup program).

Electronic Signatures provide security access, transaction logging and event triggering that gives you greater control over your system changes.

Controls access to the purging of unified product traceability data in the UPT Purge and Archive program.

Controls access to the archiving of unified product traceability data in the UPT Purge and Archive program.

Using

  1. In Setup Options define the following:

    • Unified product traceability as FSMA or ED-DPP (Setup Options > Configuration > Manufacturing > Quality Management)

    • Unified product traceability entries as the length of your retention period (Setup Options > History > Manufacturing > Quality Management)

  2. Enable the following fields within the Stock Code Maintenance program:

    • UPT required checkbox.

      Ensure the stock codes are traceable and/or serialized

  3. Use the following programs to define :and configure the required critical traceability elements and key data elements:

2. For UPT data that is no longer required, use the UPT Purge and Archive program to manage or remove data by archiving or purging it.

3. Use the report function to build and customize a report from the selected UPT data.

Referencing

Once you have defined the purge and archive criteria you wish to process, select this option to start processing.

Use this option to copy the purge and archive results listview as an image.

Use this option to export the purge and archive results listview data to a file.

Use this option to filter the purge and archive results listview.

Use this option to access additional purge and archive results listview options.

Field Description
Function

Select the function to perform. The options are:

  • Archive – Archive UPT data completed before the date entered.

  • Purge live – Purge UPT data completed before the setup retention period.

  • Purge archive – Purge archived UPT data completed before the setup retention period.
Archive UPT Data Completed Before

Enter the date before which UPT data must be archived. This field is editable and is only applicable when the Archive function is selected.
Purge UPT Data Completed Before

This displays the date before which UPT data is purged. This field is read-only and is calculated from the current company date, applying the company setup retention period.
Archive Non-Current CTE Configurations

Select this option to archive critical traceability element configurations where the current version of the configuration no longer resides on the live UPT Data tables.
