Activity Search
This program lets you view information as a result of a search performed on activities, according to the Activity Search preferences defined in the Contact Query Preferences program.
Exploring
This program is accessed from the Program List of the Syspro menu:
- Program List > Contact Management
Activities in the Contact Management System are events that are recorded against your contacts, such as phone calls, emails, meetings and tasks.

Using

Columns in a listview are sometimes hidden by default. You can reinstate them using the Field Chooser option from the context-sensitive menu (displayed by right-clicking a header column header in the listview). Select and drag the required column to a position in the listview header.

Press Ctrl+F1 within a listview or form to view a complete list of functions available.
Referencing
This lets you indicate a combination of characters or words (optionally including wildcard characters) of the item you want to search.
This lets you filter the results according to the number of activities or the time frame within which the activities occurred.
This lets you filter the results to display outstanding, historical or all activities.
This lets you select the type of activity you want to search for, e.g. tasks, meetings, appointments, etc.
This uses the Contact Query Preferences program to let you configure various preferences for the following programs:

My Organization Query
These preferences range from the layout of the views and the level of detail, to the filter and search criteria for the information you would like to display.
In the Syspro Desktop version, you can access the Preferences pane from the Options menu or by selecting the Setup Custom Filter button. In Syspro Web UI (Avanti) you can select the Preferences icon.

Date |
This indicates the date of the activity. |

View activity |
Select the View hyperlink to display additional activity details using the Contact Activity Posting program. |

Subject |
This indicates the subject of the activity. |

Regarding |
This indicates what the activity is about. |

Activity type description |
This indicates the type of activity. |

Priority |
This indicates the priority assigned to the activity. |

Contact |
This indicates the contact for the activity. Select the contact name hyperlink to display additional contact details using the Contact Query program. |

Organization |
This indicates the organization name to which the contact belongs. Select the organization name hyperlink to display the additional details of the organization using the Customer Query program.
When the contact belongs to multiple organizations (accounts, customers and/or suppliers) only one of these is displayed in the listview. The precedence is account, then customer, then supplier. For example: If the contact is linked to an account, customer and supplier, then only the account organization is displayed. If the contact belongs to a customer and supplier, then only the customer organization is displayed. |

Follow up message |
This indicates the color coded flag assigned to the activity. |

Attachment count |
This indicates whether an attachment exists for the activity. |
