Browse on Warehouses

This program lets you view details of your warehouses currently defined.

This retrieves the currently highlighted entry into the calling program.

This lets you capture a new data record.

This lets you change details for the currently highlighted record.

This deletes the highlighted data record.

Field Description

Warehouse

This indicates the warehouse code.

Description

This indicates the description of the warehouse.

Multiple bins

This indicates whether the warehouse is set up to use multiple bins.

Costing level

This indicates the level at which the costing method is applied, which can be at company level (encompassing all warehouses) or at warehouse level.

Costing method

This indicates the costing method, which determines how the inventory is valued for the warehouse.

Fixed bins

This indicates whether fixed bins are used in the warehouse.

Picking cycle

This indicates whether the sales orders created from the warehouse make use of a picking cycle.
Pick allocation override

This indicates whether the original stock allocation on any pick lines was changed.

The allocation override details are saved in the SorPickAmendJnl table.

You can only override stock allocation on a pick line when the Pick allocation override setup option is enabled against the warehouse.
Automated kanban

A Yes indicates that the warehouse is configured for Kanban Automated Replenishment.

You can hover over the Yes in this column to view a list of warehouses that can be used to replenish stock.

Include in req. calc

This indicates if the warehouse is included in the calculations performed by the Requirements Calculation program.

Lost and found warehouse

This indicates the lost and found warehouse assigned for processing accounting shortages.

Negative stock allowed

This indicates whether stock in the warehouse is allowed to go negative.

Restrictions and Limits

  • You cannot maintain information displayed in this listview if access to the program is set to Browse only, but access to the corresponding maintenance program is not allowed.

eSignatures

You can restrict access to the eSignature transactions within a program at operator, group, role or company level (configured using the Electronic Signature Configuration Setup program).

Electronic Signatures provide security access, transaction logging and event triggering that gives you greater control over your system changes.

Hints and tips

  • Columns in a listview are sometimes hidden by default. You can reinstate them using the Field Chooser option from the context-sensitive menu (displayed by right-clicking a header column header in the listview). Select and drag the required column to a position in the listview header.
