A dunning letter is a notification letter or a payment reminder that is sent to customers when payment is due or overdue.
The dunning status is linked to a dunning group and the invoices within that group. It contains the specifications and format of the dunning letter that will be generated.

Using

Columns in a list view are sometimes hidden by default. You can reinstate them using the Field Chooser option from the context-sensitive menu (displayed by right-clicking a header column header in the list view). Select and drag the required column to a position in the list view header.

Press Ctrl+F1 within a list view or form to view a complete list of functions available.
Referencing
This lets you select the dunning group for which you want to view or maintain dunning statuses.

| Dunning group | This indicates the dunning group you selected on the toolbar. |

Dunning status |
This indicates the dunning status code of the current dunning group. |

Dunning description |
This indicates the description of the dunning status. |
| Message | This indicates the message that is printed on the dunning letter. |
| Invoice selection |
This indicates whether the invoice date or the due date must be used to calculate when the invoice will be included in the dunning run. |
| Number of days | This indicates the number of days that must elapse from the invoice date or due date before the invoice is included in the dunning run. |
| Minimum invoice balance |
This indicates the minimum amount (VAT inclusive) for the invoice to be included in the dunning run. |
| Document format | This indicates the format of the dunning letter. |
| Dunning method |
This indicates how you want to send the dunning letter (i.e. print a hard copy or send via fax or email). |
