SYSPRO 8 Supported Platforms

This page contains a list of supported platforms for SYSPRO 8.

Any platform not listed here is not supported with SYSPRO 8.
ClosedWINDOWS SERVERS

The following servers have been tested and verified on 64-bit systems:

  • Windows 2016 Server
  • Windows 2016 Server using Terminal Services
  • Windows 2012 Server R2
  • Windows 2012 Server
  • Windows 2012 Server using Terminal Services
  • Windows 2008 Server R2
  • Windows 2008 Server
  • Windows 2008 Server using Terminal Services
  • Windows 2008 Server R2 using Terminal Services
  • Small Business Server 2011
When SYSPRO is to be used in a language other than English, the Windows operating system must be installed in English, and the Windows Region settings used to change Windows to the language of choice.

If Windows is installed in a language other than English, some functionality may not work as expected (such as some SYSPRO Reporting Services reports).

ClosedSQL SERVER

The following versions of SQL Server have been tested and verified:

  • SQL Server 2017
  • SQL Server 2016
  • SQL Server 2014
  • SQL Server 2012
  • SQL Server 2008 R2
Please note that SYSPRO Harmony is only supported from SQL Server 2012 and up.
ClosedVIRTUAL SERVERS

SYSPRO is supported on the Microsoft Hyper-V and VMware range of virtual server software.

We have performed extensive tests using SYSPRO in virtual environments. In addition, many of our customers are currently running successfully on both of these common virtual server environments:

  • Hyper-V
  • VMware
ClosedCLIENTS

The following versions of Windows have been tested and verified:

Home Edition of ALL versions of the Windows Client is not supported.
  • Windows 10 (with the exception of the Home edition)
  • Windows 8.1 (with the exception of any Home edition)
  • Windows 8 (with the exception of any Home edition)
  • Windows 7 (with the exception of any Home edition)
ClosedLANGUAGE CONSIDERATIONS

When SYSPRO is to be used in a language other than English, the Windows operating system must be installed in English, and the Region & language settings must be used to change Windows to the language of choice.

ClosedMICROSOFT OFFICE

Aside from the SYSPRO Office Integration solution, which makes extensive use of Microsoft Office, you may want to use Microsoft Outlook for emailing reports, or exporting data to Excel from within SYSPRO.

The following versions of Microsoft Outlook have been tested and verified:

  • Microsoft Office 365
  • Microsoft Office 2016
  • Microsoft Office 2013
  • Microsoft Office 2010
The following is not supported on a 64-bit version of any of the above mentioned Microsoft Office packages:

  • The calendar control on the SYSPRO Main Menu
  • SYSPRO Office Integration (SOI) components
