Adding a document template configuration

You would typically use this procedure when you are adding a new document template configuration to a document type.

You need to do this before you can print, email, fax or archive any SRS documents of this document type.

  1. Open the SRS Document Print Setup program (SYSPRO ribbon bar > Setup > Stationery Formats > SRS Document Setup).

  2. Select (New > Template) from the Edit menu.

  3. Enter the new template details and then save your changes.

    Include the following details:

    • a template description

    • if you would like to copy a template, use an existing template, or create a new template

    • the source file location

    • the external file location (if you selected External template file as the source file location)

    • the template name

  4. Enter the document template configuration details.

  5. Define the archive options required.

  6. Define the print, email and fax options, as well as the printers required.

The {Current printer} is added by default. You can add additional printers if you need documents to always print to specific printers.

  7. Save your changes.
