You use this program to add new document templates for a selected document type.
New templates can be added by copying them from the SYSPRO sample templates or from templates previously created for the document type.

Sample template | Select this to create the new template using a SYSPRO
sample template for the document type. This option is only enabled when you select to Copy a template. |

Existing template | Select this to create the new template using a template you previously created for the document type. This template must already exist on your system. | ||||||
External template file | Select this to create the new template by copying a template which exists either on your system, your network or on an external drive or device. | ||||||

Template | Indicate the name of the template file you want to use to create the new template. |
This screen is displayed when you select the Browse icon from the Template field.

To create an entirely new blank document, create a new template by copying the relevant blank sample template, which will already be linked to the correct data source set.
Adding a document template configuration
You would typically use this procedure when you are adding a new document template configuration to a document type.
You need to do this before you can print, email, fax or archive any SRS documents of this document type.
Open the SRS Document Print Setup program .
Select Edit menu.
from theEnter the new template details and then save your changes.
Include the following details:
a template description
if you would like to copy a template, use an existing template, or create a new template
the source file location
the external file location (if you selected External template file as the source file location)
the template name
Enter the document template configuration details.
Define the archive options required.
Define the print, email and fax options, as well as the printers required.
The {Current printer} is added by default. You can add additional printers if you need documents to always print to specific printers.
Save your changes.
