IO Amendment Journal

You use this program to generate a list of structure amendment journals created for Families and Groupings.

This enables you to monitor information that has changed for structures such as Collection additions, changes and deletions, Stock Keeping Unit (SKU) additions and deletions. These changes are made using the Families and Groupings program and affect the resultant forecast.

Notes and warnings

Restrictions and limits

  • IO Amendment journals are only created if the option: Families and Groupings structure amendment journals is enabled (Inventory Optimization - General Setup).

  • Structure amendment journals do not retain the list of consolidated warehouses that can be defined against a collection.

Journals are, however, created for system generated changes (for example if you added a collection and its unit of measure was not compatible with the parent's unit of measure, then the parent's unit of measure is set to spaces and this is recorded on the amendment journal).

Reprint

  • No journals are available to reprint if you selected to delete the journal file when you last printed the report.
