GL Net Profit Margin Report

You use this program to generate a report showing the result of applying the net profit margin ratio to your General Ledger values.

Report Options

Selection Description
Budget selection Indicate the budgets for which to generate the report.
Select All Select this to generate the report for all budgets.
Deselect All Select this to exclude all budgets from the report. You can then indicate the specific budgets to include in the report.

Selection Description
Ledger year

Indicate the ledger year(s) for which to generate the report.

To generate the report only for actual ledgers, select the Deselect All function from the Budget selection option.
Ledger period Indicate the ledger period(s) for which to generate the report.

Output Options

These options enable you to apply a theme to the report and to define multiple output destinations for the report once it has been compiled (SRS Output Options).

Notes and warnings

Prerequisites

  • To enhance the accuracy of the results of the report, you need to ensure that the Account type against each General Ledger code is correctly defined (General Ledger Codes or GL Structure Definition) and that your General Ledger integration.

Hints and tips

  • You can use the GL Ratio Analysis Query program to display these same results on the screen, by selecting to Compare Ledgers. The query is, however, generated for all the actual ledgers and budgets currently available in your SYSPRO company, whereas the report can be generated for all, none, or a range of budgets.
