List of Reports

You use this program to list of all reports created in the Report Writer module.

The report can be generated in either a summary or detailed format for each report definition.

Report Options

Field Description
Report type  
Summary

Select this to print a one line summary of each report.

This option is useful when many reports have been defined and you need to find a particular report.

Detailed

Select this to print a detailed description of each report.

This report lists all the columns to be printed in each section, as well as how each column is defined.

We recommend that you print at least one detailed report of all reports defined for disaster recovery purposes.

List detail field descriptions

Select this if you want to print a detailed description for each column in each section for each report selected.

This option is only available if you selected to print a Detail report type.

List security options

Select this if you want to print the security options defined against each report.

This option is only available if you selected to print a Detail report type.

Using this option enables you to view the operators/groups who can maintain/run each report without having to use the Create Report program to check this on each report individually.

Print Select this to generate the report according to your selections.
Close Select this to exit the report without generating the report.

Selection criteria

Field Description
Report selection Indicate the report code(s) you want to include in the list.
Primary table selection Indicate the primary table(s) defined against the reports for which you want to include reports in the list.
