Data Dictionary Linkages List

You use this program to list the Table Linkages created in the data dictionary.

This list enables you to see how tables are linked and therefore across which tables you can extract data to create reports.

Standard links are created when importing the data dictionary using the Data Dictionary Import program. User defined links can be created at the time of defining a report using the Browse on Data Dictionary Linkages program.

Report Options

The report options enable you to specify the range of source and target tables you want to include in the report. Only those target tables linked to the source tables selected are included in the report. Similarly, only those source tables linked to the target tables selected are included in the report.

From source table Indicate the first source table in a range of source tables for which you want to print the links.
To source table Indicate the last source table in a range of source tables for which you want to print the links.

The data dictionary links are held in the Report Writer Data Dictionary Linkages (RepLink) table. Within this table, the Standard SYSPRO Table column indicates whether the link is user defined or is a standard SYSPRO link. If a link is user defined, an N is stored in this column and Yes is displayed in the User column of the report. If a link is a standard SYSPRO link, a Y is stored in this column and the User column on the report is left blank.
