You use this program to view resource components held in the resource planning demand file. The quantities required for each resource can be displayed in a graphical format or in detail.
You use the Resource Explosion program to create a resource planning demand file.

Preference | |
Save preference | Select this to save the preferences you indicated in
the preference pane against your operator code. If you do not select this option, then the preferences are saved for the current run of the program only. |
Resource | Indicate the resource for which you want to view the planning. |
Refresh | Select this icon to redisplay the information after changing any of the preferences. |
You use this pane to indicate the defaults you want to apply when displaying the resource planning.

Days per period | Indicate the number of days required for each time period. This defaults to your entry at the option: Default time period length (days) (Requirements Planning Setup). | ||||||||
First period start date |
Indicate the date from which the first period must begin. Any resources required up to the date entered become prior requirements, while any resources required after the 11th period become forward requirements. This means that any resources required after the 11th period are included in the 11th period, as this is the last period. |
