Capacity Loadings

You use this program to generate a report of work center loadings for a single day, multiple days, weeks, or months. Pegging information can also be printed to identify the cause of the loads.

Report Options

Field Description
Time period  
Period Indicate the period for which you want to generate the report.
OptionDescription
Single daySelect this for material demand and supply information to be accumulated for single days.
Multiple daysSelect this for material demand and supply information to be accumulated for a number of days.
WeeksSelect this for material demand and supply information to be accumulated for weekly intervals.
MonthsSelect this for material demand and supply information to be accumulated for monthly intervals.
Number of days Indicate the number of days for which to accumulate supply and demand.

This applies if you selected Multiple days at the Period field.

1st day of week Indicate the day on which the first day of the week falls.

This applies if you selected Weeks at the Period field.

Print options  
Include suggested jobs Select this to include suggested jobs which cause a load on the work center in the specified time period.
Pegging

Select this to print the pegging information (i.e. the reason for the load in each period).

For any pegging that falls within the date range January 1st, 2040 to December 31st, 2045, the words Not loaded will be printed in the date column.

New page per work center Select this to print the details for each work center on a separate page (i.e. you want a page break between each work center).
Print graphs Select this to print the work center capacity graph on the report.

This option is only available on the SRS version of this report.

Print manufacturing u/m quantities This applies if you are using Manufacturing unit of measure (Work in Progress Setup). In addition, you need to have defined a Manufacturing unit of measure for the relevant stock items (Stock Codes) and used the Manufacturing unit of measure in the Bills of Materials.

Select this to print the manufacturing unit of measure for the quantities on the report.

If you do not select this option, then the stocking unit of measure for the quantities is printed.

Work center status This enables you to select work centers to include in the report according to the work center status.
OptionDescription
All loaded centersSelect this to only print information for those work centers where there is a load, irrespective of whether the load exceeds the available capacity or not.
Overloaded centers onlySelect this to only print information for those work centers where the load exceeds the available capacity in any specified time period.
All centersSelect this to print all work centers, regardless of whether or not load exists for the work center in the specified time period.

Selection criteria

Field Description
Date selection Indicate the range of dates for which you want to generate the report.
Work center selection Indicate the work center(s) for which you want to generate the report.

Output Options

These options enable you to apply a theme to the report and to define multiple output destinations for the report once it has been compiled (SRS Output Options).
