System Audit Log Purge

You use this program to delete entries you no longer require from the System Audit Log file.

System audit log entries are automatically created by SYSPRO which means that the System Audit Log file can grow considerably large. The System Audit Purge program is used to reduce the size of the System Audit Log file by deleting log entries according to their age.

System audit log entries can be viewed and printed using the System Audit Query program.

Field Description
Options  
Delete log records older than Indicate the age according to which log entries must be deleted.

Entries which are older than the age indicate in this field are deleted when you select the Start Purge option.

Start Purge Select this to delete the log entries which are older than the age indicated at the Delete log records older than field. You are prompted to confirm the deletion.
Close Select this to exit the program without deleting any log entries.

Start Purge

When you select the Start Purge option, you are prompted to confirm that you want to proceed with the deletion process.

OK Select this to delete the log entries.
Cancel Select this to return to the previous screen without deleting any log entries.
