Select this to maintain the entry currently highlighted in the listview.

Select this to delete the entry currently highlighted in the listview.

Options

Confirm Deletions

Select this to be prompted to confirm the deletion of an entry when you select to delete it. If you do not select this option, then the entry is deleted without warning.

Distribution

Select this to distribute the sales value to the heads/sections of a hierarchy.

Value to update

These options are only enabled when you change the quantity and/or selling price on the sales order line or you add a new line to the sales order.

When the net value of the sales order line changes, or you add a new line to the sales order, the value of the change/addition must be distributed to a valid hierarchy. The program displays the head/sections against which the original value of the line was distributed. You need to select whether to add the value of the new (or changed) line to the original sales value or the adjustment value.

Option	Description
Sales value	Select this to add the value of the change/addition to the original sales value.
Adjustment value	Select this to add the value of the change/addition to the adjustment value. Adjustments to an existing line value are added to period-to-date and year-to-date amounts and are printed on the Contract Progress Report and Job Progress Report.

Undistributed

This indicates the sales value that must be distributed.

When you change an order line, then this field displays the difference between the original line value and the new line value.

This value must be distributed until the undistributed value is zero. This is done by changing the value for existing lines or by processing new distribution entries.

Sales Order Value Distribution for Job

The job hierarchy is displayed in a treeview.

If you selected the setup option: Expand hierarchy treeview (Work in Progress Setup) then the treeview is automatically fully expanded. If you did not select this option, then each level of the treeview is only expanded when you select the plus sign against it.

Distribution

You use the Distribution option from the Distribution menu to distribute the sales value to the heads/sections of a hierarchy.

Field	Description
Sales value	Enter the sales value to distribute.
Hierarchy	Select this to use the P&C Maintenance of Job Hierarchies program to select the hierarchy to which the value must be distributed.
Undistributed	This indicates the sales value that must still be distributed.
Apply Undistributed	Select this to distribute the entire Undistributed sales value to the hierarchy selected.
OK	Select this to distribute the sales value entered to the selected hierarchy.
Cancel	Select this to return to the previous screen. You will be unable to exit the program until the Undistributed value is zero.

Notes and warnings

Program access

This program is automatically loaded from the Sales Order Entry program when the net value of an hierarchical sales order line changes, or you add a new line to an hierarchical sales order.

Password considerations

Password access to the following functions in this program may be defined in the Password Definition program. When defined, the password must be entered before you can access the function.

SO Change original sales value for hierarchical SO line	This password applies to hierarchical sales orders and restricts access to selecting to update the Sales value for the heads/sections of an hierarchy using the P&C Distribute Sales Order Value program. This does not restrict access to processing an Adjustment value in the P&C Distribute Sales Order Value program.
