Unit Method Time and Capacity
Unit run time

This is the time taken to produce one unit during full speed production. It forms part of elapsed time.

For Rate and Block run time methods, the unit run time is calculated according to the Quantity and Time taken values (WIP Job and Op Maintenance or WIP Add an Operation).
Capacity required This indicates the calculation and value of the capacity required.

This calculation is:

[(Setup x Maximum number of Productive units) + (Startup time x Maximum number of Productive units) + (Unit run time x (EBQ or PAN - {Startup Qty x Maximum number of Productive units})) + (Teardown x Maximum number of Productive units)] x the capacity conversion factor

Elapsed time This indicates the calculation and value of the elapsed time.

This calculation is:

(Capacity required / (Normal capacity per day x Maximum number of Productive units)) + (Wait time / (Normal capacity per day / or x Capacity conversion factor))

Note that elapsed time in SYSPRO is calculated in days only. The calculation is therefore rounded up to a whole number (no decimals). The SYSPRO Factory Scheduling module however, allows hours, minutes and seconds to be calculated.
