Contact Reminders Query

You use this program to view details of outstanding reminders created by the SYSPRO Contact Management System and to action them accordingly.

Reminders

Field Description
Start time Indicates the start date and time defined against the currently highlighted activity.
Subject Displays the text defined against the Subject field of the currently highlighted activity.
Due in Indicates when the activity is due.

If the activity is overdue, then the number of days by which it is overdue is displayed in this column.

Location Displays the location defined against the Location field of the currently highlighted activity.
Dismiss All Clear all reminders currently displayed.
Open Item View details of the activity currently highlighted and to optionally edit the activity.
Dismiss Clear the currently highlighted reminder.
Click Snooze to be reminded again in Enter the time into the future to which you want to extend the reminder.
Snooze Extend the reminder to a specific time in the future. You enter this time in the field provided.

Notes and warnings

Linking operator and contact

  • A link must exist between an operator and a contact in SYSPRO for the operator to take full advantage of facilities such as reminders and the visualization of appointments and meetings within the SYSPRO calendar.

    This link is normally created automatically when an operator is added to the system. However, for sites using earlier versions of the Contact Management System, this link may need to be configured manually.

Hints and tips

Automatic reminders

  • If enabled automatic reminders (within the To-Do List pane), then a Reminder window is displayed when a meeting or appointment is due. If you have not enabled automatic reminders, then you use this program to view details of reminders.

  • You define reminders against Appointment and Meeting type activities.
