You use this program to produce a what-if report of the estimated ABC recoveries based on the elements held against the stock item entered and the quantities of the product specified.
You typically use this program to access the units likely to be recovered as a basis for rate setting, as well as to estimate appropriate recovery rates per element.

Stock code selection | The following options enable you to specify which
items from a selection you want to
include.
|
||||||||||||
From stock code | Enter the first item in the range of the selected
stock codes to include. If you indicated that you want to include only a single item from the selection, then you use this field to enter that item. |
||||||||||||
To stock code | Enter the last item in the range of the selected item
to include. This field is only enabled if you selected the Range option. |
||||||||||||
List of stock codes | Select the Define list hyperlink
to create a list of stock codes from which to generate the
report. It is important that you enter stock codes and quantities expected from each batch of a product, otherwise single and batch type elements will not be sufficiently represented. |
||||||||||||
File name | Indicate the name of a user-defined import file from
which you want to generate the report. This file must contain a list of stock codes and quantities entered at specific field positions. This function is particularly useful if you want to run the report a number of times without having to enter a long list of stock codes each time. You need to select the Import option to enable this field. |
You can view the summary and detail report details.
The accumulation of the driver quantity is dependent on the route selection against the element structure (see Browse on Element Structures).
The scrap quantity per defined against each component is elevated by the progressive scrap percentage/amount before it is multiplied by the driver quantity of each element defined.
